Very Fun Device

Overall, this device is incredibly fun. It has a great camera with some nice software behind it as well as a nice bright screen. The operation is smooth and soft with a nice feeling to the phone in your hand. I love the design and the operation. Overall, some people may disagree but the facts are that this device is well reviewed at 1000's of locations. Some may not like it but I find it to be the best of the best as can be expected from Samsung! The only con is the speakers....and that is ia minor con to me because no one should be looking for their phone to BLAST audio. Thats why you have expensive headsets and bluetooth capabilities, people.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: speakers need to be larger

I can use my phone for two days before it goes low. It also takes great pictures. I haven't tried the water resistant part I am glad to have that feature also.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, battery life

My other phone shorted out, probably due to perspiration. The Samsung S5 has a water resistant plug over the data/charge portal that I hope will solve that problem.
I have been reading & testing for 3 days. The camera is amazing. Impressive resolution & software options.
ISIS is an app that empowers the S5 to charge purchases to a credit card by tapping the phone on a card reader/terminal. It uses Near Field Communication (NFC) protected by a 4 digit PIN. I used it at a fast food restaurant.
My other phone had a hardware toggle switch that quickly muted the phone for performance situations. The S5 requires either diminution of volume or software silencing.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: no quick mute

I had S2 last couple of years and liked it very much. But it has wifi issues. With S5, I can use wifi frequently better than S2. Larger size is also good. Features are excellent and time appropriate.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: should have speakers in the front.

best galaxy yet! had the galaxy 2 and my family has the galaxy 4 the 5 is defently worth the investment

Upgraded from an iPhone 4 and will never go back. Samsung has proved themselves with the new Galaxy, will definely go with another once my contracts up.
