Great phone, great camera

I love this phone. Especially the camera. With this camera in my pocket I rarely have to use my Canon DSLR. I can make a portrait picture from 15 yards away.

I loved, love, loved my nokia but I shattered the screen. If I could afford to replace it, I'd never let it go. After having this phone I remembered how much I hated other systems. I guess an adroid would have to do for now.

love it w/a few issues

I absolutely love the camera, amazing. However, sometimes the camera app wont open properly and the screen goes black but the shutter stays open on the back. Usually a soft reset fixes the problem. Other than that rarity, its a great phone!

Beast of a camera

Overall the Lumia 1020 has been one of my best devices that I ever owned. Have been using it for just over a year along with the Lumia 820,920,925 & 1520 and still there's nothing that can beat the camera on the 1020. Battery life was excellent but after the windows phone 8.1 update it seems to have reduced by a very small amount which is not a big issue. Hasn't lagged alot, actually the time it takes to load apps is only a second or two slower than the Lumia 1520. This slight delay isn't noticeable though. App resuming which was a tense issue with Windows phone 8.1 has now been solved with more feature rich and bug squashing updates. Now the device is running smooth with the Lumia Cyan firmware. Hoping to see a successor to this great phone in the near future as it is now over a year old.

The Best in all aspects

I have compared my 1020 with friends loyal to the iPhones and when comparing ease of use, pictures quality, screen quality, speed to respond, battery life, Cortana vs. the other thing....light years ahead with my 1020! Cortana is perfect for me, I get my calls dialed with no effort. Fantastic phone, get more Apps and it will be Perfect!
