the perfect smartphone with super camera ever

Perfect design & high quality materials, gorgeous 41MP PureView camera, the ClearBlack technology display is great, and the Windows phone 8.1 makes my experience awesome finally the sync of my Lumia 1020 with my laptop runs windows 8.1 is really great and it make my daily work easier.

Perfect phone for your inner photograher

Since I got this phone, I don't use my "real" camera anymore. This is so much better. I love that I can take great pics on a family trip then be able to open and edit office files while on the road.

This phone has been really good to me. It has been the phone that I kept for the longest amount of time yet didn't care much about other phones because it was so good. The camera was AMAZING just like all the reviews show, for a dual core phone, the phone was very peppy and still very fluid in everyday usage. I loved this phone and left it only because of the battery life. I would disconnect it in the mornings at 7am and by 3pm I would need to put it back to charge once again. Understandable though, I did have many services synchronizing in the background which definitely consume battery. I really do miss this phone, but I moved on to something generally better, the awesome 1520.

A camera monster

Still the best phone for taking picture after a year. It really can take some outstanding picture, no jokes. Just the battery could have been better.

Great phone with the best camera

I really like this camera as a document scanner. I can simply point and shoot and I have a document saved. No portable scanner needed at all. Pictures are insane and it does everything else I need.

Terrific phone but missing basic features

The phone itself is excellent. Much better than the android and on par with the iPhone. I switched from an iPhone 4s to the 1020 and have no regrets, however, there are some OS issues that make me wonder if I should wait for Windows 10 and the 1020 successor or go back to the iPhone. While the quality of the phone and the live tiles were selling points, the lack of practicality is a turn off. There is a notification and action center, but it is basically useless. I expected command center functions like the ability to access to quickly access my settings, make calls without having to look for the icon on the start screen, send or read texts or messages, or access favorite websites. It is very frustrating. It’s like jumping through hoops perform basic functions that are simple on every other OS and I do not appreciate it. The apps are either lacking or subpar. Having said that, I would buy another windows phone before another android, but not sure I want to continue to be frustrated phone missing basic features or go back to the iPhone. Hoping windows 10 will address those issues.

Incredible Phone!

What a delight to use! The AMOLED display is absolutely gorgeous, it feels strong and extremely well-built (of course, it's a Nokia) and I have always been a fan of the Windows Phone operating system. Cortanna and all the new features with Lumia Cyan are incredible, responsive, and great to use. And obviously the camera is indescribably amazing. It's sharp, the controls are amazing, and pictures look great. I love the high-end features this phone has too, like wireless charging case compatibility, Glance, great speakers, and an overall good battery life. If the phone had a faster processor, it would be unstoppable. There is ample RAM and storage, so a quad-core processor is all this phone needs to be a killer. Otherwise, I love this device. Nice job, Microsoft!

Awsome all round

I bought the Lumia 1020 about a year ago and still, I wouldn't but anything else today. The camera is predictably awesome, AMOLED screen is of high quality and acceptable resolution for the size, and the build qualify typically good. The only downside is the fact that wireless charging is not integrated, and the bezel are a little large as well.
