I purchased this S5 to replace my S4, just like I replace S2 with S4. it's as good, powerful and perfect as it says in Samsung's website. Very excellent operational experience. Samsung always gave us surprise which is beyond our expectation.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I upgraded to the Samsung 5 the day it was released. I debated between the iPhone and Galaxy. I ultimately went with the Galaxy due to superior camera and bigger/clearer screen. I'm very pleased but honestly am still learning. I know the phone has much more potential and look forward to discovering more.

I upgraded from an iPhone 4s to a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have not regretted it since then. Shortly after the Samsung Galaxy S5 came out, I hopped on the train and upgraded again. What attracted me the most was the "waterproof" feature which allows up to 3ft of being submerged under water without doubts if all the seals are properly closed.
Other than that, the new featured that this phone comes with are amazing. I love the new S Health app which encourages me to be more active in a motivated way. With Wifi and Data being active all day, a full charge would carry me through an average of about 1.5days give and take.
The "cons" that I would say about this is that the "task application" key is throwing me off. It used to be a menu key for the S4 and all series below it. I would rather press and hold the home key to bring up the task menu. There seems to be no function to switch around the key setting for this. Also mine seems to be a bit too responsive whereas if I use the phone horizontally, the slightest touch of my palm NEAR the chrome bezel would set off the button and brings up task menu. I think this is a manufacture defect but I don't want to submit it to warranty now and receive a refurbished phone as my warranty replacement.
Another "con" is the lock screen being slow. After locking the phone and trying to unlock it by pressing the lock button again, it takes about 1.5sec for the lockscreen to finally show.
Overall I am happy with this product and have not regretted the switch over from Apple to Samsung.

I love this new phone!!! I had the samsung infuse before and really liked it. I have always used samsung phones I the past too. My husband talked me into going over to the iPhone, and I just didn't like it as much. I am an android person. I love all of the cool stuff this phone has to offer. You can only get that through purchased apps on the iPhone! Still trying to get the rust off from using the other guys, but loving everything about this new phone. Never going back again.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: none so far

This phone has a large screen which makes reading easy,,,, the fonts also increase without having to go to settings while you are in text mode. It is a breeze to navigate. You don't have to have a PHD in cellphones to use. There are many great free apps. The camera takes the most awesome pics. I am just thrilled with my new phone!! SAMSUNG......, You have really got a great product!! Thank You!

I have had the s5 about 3 weeks now and it is a great upgrade from the s3 which i loved. The features on the s5 are amazing i have gone 36 hours on a single charge! Nowhere near the life of my s3 and when i get around a certain percentage of battery i just turn on ultra power saving mode and continue using my phone like normal but with significantly reduced power consumption. Pictures quality is Chrystal clear when taking photos during those bright sunny days and with the camera features like dual camera mode and the sports mode.
Pros: Bright display, ultra power saving mode, battery life, screen brightness, camera/video
