New Version Removes Video-Out

The old version of this dock that was made for the Series 7 was perfect. This new version for the ATIV removed the HDMI port so there is no video-out via the dock. One major feature of a dock is to be able to remove the device without unplugging anything. This dock fails in that respect because you must plug a mini-HDMI cable into the side of the tablet in order to use an external monitor.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no video-out

This dock only has usb, lan, and power connections were the description shows speaker and hdmi connections also.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Poor Excuse for a dock

I am a big fan of Samsung products as I have had at least 4 of their phones, 2 TV's and many of their laptops. I was excited to see their new ATIV tablet PC and though it would be perfect as a laptop replacement along with the dock. After receiving the dock I am thoroughly disappointed. For the price they are expecting it should really come with an ac adapter. Secondly is the dock lost the video output that their previous tablet dock had. That might be able to be overlooked if they at least include a USB 3 port. You can then use a USB to DVI video adapter and run one or more screens. With it being only USB 2, I would not recommend more than one. The product just seems to be lacking the innovation of Samsung products of late.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no usb 3, no video out, too expensive, no power adapter

Does not include HDMI port as advertised!

The Overview page states two ports that are not present on the dock stand, specifically there is no headphone jack nor HDMI port. The Gallery page (4th image) is correct -- only 3 ports are included -- USB, LAN, and power.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, could use more usb ports, no hdmi

Forgot video out

I have a previous version on the Samsung Slate series 7. It had a very similar dock that had network, power, USB and HDMI ports. For some reason Samsung forgot the the HDMI port so you have to dock then plug in a HDMI cable to a covered port on the side on the tablet. Don't know why? Works well if you don't want to use a external monitor.

HDMI PORT

What happened to the HDMI Port, the purpose of this unit is to use it at the desk on a large monitor, pain plugging in the HDMI every time!
