Love the downdraft

The downdraft on this model works very well, so well that it will re-direct the flame, but if you want fumes to go OUT, this unit will do it effectively. I would prefer individual burners as we had in our older model but it's not a huge problem this way. This unit seems to confuse installers, so make sure that the installer understands how to handle this unit. We bought this in black because the unit isn't made in slate yet and we found that it matches the slate appliances very well.

We just got this beautiful cooktop last week and I love the way it looks on our new solid countertop. It cooks very fast and efficient and cleans very easily. I love it.

Great addition

We bought this cooktop about one month ago. I needed a cook top that had a downdraft which was very difficult to find and I wanted to change from electric to gas because they cook so much better. We finally found this one and had it installed. It looks great and I love the way it cooks. It cleans easily and fits perfectly. However, the downdraft is very powerful. I use the lowest setting because it tends to pull the flames as well as the fumes. Nothing that would prevent me from making the same purchase again though. I really love it!

Well Built!!

Got this last week and had it installed today. Looks great and is "Way Better" than the older GE cooktop it replaced. Only issue is that the downdraft unit drops much lower than the older unit. Required cutting existing shelves and buying new venting. Otherwise great!!!!
