I purchased this for my daughter, who just turned 21, 6 months ago out of concern for her. She does have a good head on her shoulders. She uses it along her girlfriends before they get behind the wheel. I have picked her up once due to being over the limit because she didn't eat a good meal and she only had two drinks! Previously, she has had 3 or so drinks during an evening with her levels being .02 or less! When the young adults first start drinking, they have no idea how to judge or trust just how much drinking affects them, not to mention having no idea just how much alcohol the mixed drinks have because they vary so much depending on the bar keep. I love that this help us sleep at night.
This is great tool to prevent the DUIs. The only skepticism I have is when I'll need to send it in for calibration. I'm guessing i will every 6 months. Great gift for family/friends!
I use BACtrak as my first opinion before I get the second opinion in my car interlock system... you know what i mean. Works great and sure takes away my anxiety to get in my car, plus easy to carry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Self testing to determine limits over time. Depend on reliability. Light; easy to carry. Concerned about need for recalibration; that was the problem with an older device.
This has been one of the smartest purchases I've made lately. One hundred dollars to help me know when not to drive vs. going to jail and costing thousands of dollars and sparing me the humiliation of a DUI
