Great product

I originally bought a less expensive one at the drugstore, but it was not always reliable. My son argued with the results, even when they were most likely accurate. This one gives consistently reliable results. It's pricey, but worth it. When he initially tried to argue about the results, I told him how much it cost and that it was a professional model, like the ones the police use. He has accepted the results without any ado ever since.

Nice compact breathalyzer. Highly recommend. I've let people use it out at parties, and watched them switch to drinking water and waiting before driving home.

So far, our officers have been satisfied with using the product. The downside is having to wait for 20 minutes before being able to test.

I bought this tester as a tool to make sure I don't do something stupid. I'm a professional salesperson and the company I work for has a strict drinking and driving policy. Basically, anything over 0.04%, regardless of whether you are at fault or not, is instance release. So, I thought this would be a handy tool. At this point, I like the tester. It seems well made and sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap. Most people that try it like it. It's easy to use for sure. My only concern is the accuracy. I wish their was an easy way to check calibration. I seems to test lower than what I or others think they really are. This draws comments like, Wow, I can drink more that I thought. Other than the accuracy unknown, I like the tester.

This is an enlightening tool for understanding how drinking different quantities over different time frames, etc., effect your BAC. Use for self-education, cautionary testing before driving, and frankly it's an interesting party side activity (we're old enough not to be trying for highest readings! -- we actually test to see who's lower after similar drinking levels.)

My husband and I use this product for personal use. No longer do we have to guess whether we're safe to dry. We now know definitively whether we are over or under legal limit. The product only takes 20 seconds to warm up so very convenient. Keep in mind that residual alcohol in the mouth can lead to a higher reading so wait at least 20 min after drinking for most accurate results (or rinse mouth with water before usage).
