This thing was a savior for the first 2 1/2 - 3 months. Until today. My last drink was at 6pm last night, i woke up at about 8:30 am and tested myself to see if I could drive. It was at a .10 Now over an 2 hours later it's reading at .14. I will test myself later this evening and see if its just stuck around that reading or what. I only say I'd recommend this product because it worked great at first and was relatively inexpensive.
I purchased the BAC Track to be more aware of my BAC after consuming alcohol and considering driving. While I like how simple the product is, how small it is, I question it's accuracy at both the high end and the low end. After consuming two glasses of wine and waiting one hour, I registered a .09 (was expecting a .04 max). One night I had a glass of wine, waited one hour and registered a .02. I had a piece of bread immediately after registering the .02 and for 60 minutes registered a .09 (with no additional alcohol). While I appreciate this device, I do not believe it's accuracy is there unless you are at a .00.
This device is a great tool for providing awareness and is unbiased in defining a BAC ratio. This information is then very useful in making important decisions.
