Finally, great heat control!

I chose this cook top because of its ease of cleaning up - but I received so much more. Not only is it visually beautiful, but it has the best heat control of any cook top I have ever used. It's a dream come true for simmering and cooking. The clean up on this top is super quick and easy and keeps my kitchen looking tidy and clean. The fifth burner is very helpful during canning and big dinners. I used to have a grill there, and never used it. I would buy this cook top again and highly recommend it to anyone. A great price too!

We love this unit, we've had it for about 6 months and it has worked great for us. Lots of space to cook and easy to use. Definitely glad we got this!

Microwave function dropped dead

Bought in 2010, but for a summer vacation home where it gets light use for only two months a year, so its actual age at death last Fall was about 14 months at most. We were going to call our excellent repairman but, according to the reviews, the problem is most likely the magnetron and a replacement will also fail in a short time, so we'll have to spring for purchase and installation of new micro-convection, which very definitely will NOT be a Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
