Sadly, this "new" fridge is less sturdy thany old one. They keep making the parts cheaper and the plastic is flimsy. The long pull drawer cover keeps popping off since day 1. The freezer feels like it will break if I pull the drawer out too quickly. Just doesn't feel well made. Also makes a very loud sound every so often, probably reloading water for ice, but really loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Functional but small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did read an earlier review that this refrigerator is noisy, so I might be influenced by that. It seems to be humming almost all day. Now it is ambient noise but I’m not sure why it does run so much.
The drawers are large enough for a small space. I wish they had a special door holder for a carton of eggs.
All in all, I like it and I wanted all Kitchenaid in my condo. You know it is reliable.

Took some getting use to the French doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took some practice packing the freezer . You have to be careful that the feezer drawer doesn’t bump into the top shelf. I’ve had a bottom freezer before but not one with the draw that pulls way out like this one.It is also a bit noisy at times.
