Cheap stainless steel rusts

Within a couple of months of buying this fridge, it developed rust spots on the doors and handles. Kitchen Aid replaced the doors and handles (they would not replace the fridge). I had to wait several months for the new doors to be installed. I've had the new doors for about 7 or 8 months, and no kidding....there are rust spots forming again! Cheap stainless steel. I have had stainless steel appliances for over 20 years and never experienced this. had told the rep that the inside of this fridge always seems damp compared to any fridge I've ever owned and that is with the humidity control turned on. We've tried playing around with the temperature and it does not help. Also, the produce drawers are a joke: the brackets do not work right and when you pull the drawer out to grab something, you have to be so careful, otherwise, the drawer just falls out. It has literally fallen onto my new hardwood floors. The shape and depth of the drawers are not designed well either and you cannot fit much. The gaps between the back of the fridge and the shelves are too big and items fall through. Overall, compared to my previous refrigerators, the quality seems very cheap and it runs loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New fridge not working and no supoort

It’s very upsetting that I have to wait on hold for over an hour every time I call the wait time is an hour. So diapooonting

Not as good as previous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Kitchen Aid refrigerator for 32 years with no problems. We bought a new one for the bottom freezer feature. Within 3 months the ice maker quit and then the water stopped working. 2 service calls to fix the ice maker and now waiting for part to fix the water. One door seal failed along with the ice maker. We spent the extra money for a Kitchen Aid unit due to previous 32 years with no problems and sold it as working unit.
Apparently nobody makes anything like they used to. Hopefully we will get 10 years out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our new KitchenAid Refrigerator, Model KRFF302ESS08, in March/2025. It's been working fine and we have not experienced any problems with it. It's our first refrigerator that has the water line hooked up to it for access to cool, clean water and also ice. We had it professionally installed and really enjoy it. Our previous fridge was a 30 inch, and this new one is 33 inches wide so we like the extra room. The many shelves in the fridge and the doors make it make it very flexible to storing our items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are adjusting to our new refrigerator, our previous fridge was a GE Profile which served us well for many years but also shelves & drawer tracks started breaking. We do love the KitchenAid but I had to set the main section a litter higher than the factory recommendation of 38 degrees as some of my food was freezing. I love the wine bottle rack (huge space saver) and I would never buy a fridge without the interior water dispenser, with this feature you are not losing a lot of door shelf space as you would with the exterior style water dispenser. I also love the full width drawer on the bottom, it really holds a lot of food and we use one side for canned drinks as it comes with a divider. This fridge also has a humidity button that we have had to use for our Cape Cod hot & humid summer. Last I really like the fact that the door shelves all have rubber liners that pull out for easy cleaning :)

Stainless steel handles on both doors and the freezer match beautifully with the nickel Hardware on my cabinets making my kitchen all together look gorgeous! The French doors are a beautiful touch with ice cold filtered water inside the left door. I love the adjustability of the shelves and the one shelf that can slip underneath the other making it easier to store taller items!

I can't believe how much longer the fruits and vegetables last and it is so roomy. No fumbling around to fit the larger items in! And the quality of the ice, oh my gosh 10 times better than my old fridge....so very pleased with all four appliances, should haVe done this a long time ago.
