[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After drooling over french door style refrigerators, our trusty original fridge finally died and shopping the wide array of choices we decided to go with KitchenAid for all the appliances in our kitchen remodel. It is a wonderful fridge. The generous top compartments is easy to access through either or both doors, and we love the flexibility in the layout. I especially like the meat and cheese drawer across the bottom and the way it opens out to let us survey the cheese selections (and we do love our cheese).
The freezer compartment is great, and its surprising even for a really tall guy like me how much easier it is to find things in the pull out drawer versus digging through a narrow side-door freezer. We also like how efficient the ice cube maker is, and how easily the catch tray can be lifted out full of ice when you want more than a glass full.
My only criticism is that I wish the internal water dispenser was designed to allow use with one hand - we don't like having to hold the door open with our shoulder, and then having to press the dispense button while holding the glass under. It seems there would have been lots of engineering and viable design options to solve that issue. But we do like the water filter, which makes a difference where we live.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new Kitchenaid refrigerator. We had a very difficult time finding something that could fit in the space and not only did this fit the bill - but it allows for much better organization of the food. Previously we threw out a lot that got pushed to the back - with the double doors we can more easily see everything and locate what we're looking for. The freezer on the bottom also better fits our needs.
