[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched before I bought a refrigerator. We were restricted by space so it came down to just a few possibilities. I am very happy with my purchase. It keeps a very consistent temperature. Fresh food seems to last longer than in my old fridge.My only complaint (and its a small one) is that the crisper drawers don't move smoothly. I knew this before I bought the fridge. I think it will become better with use. The plastic just needs to be worn down to a smoother finish. Other makes of fridges do seem to have a very smooth motion for their drawers (those on wheels).Its unfortunate that KitchenAid didn't invest in the small castors that some fridges have. Overall though, I am very happy with my purchase.

Wonderful product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past five months we have been enjoying the best tasting water we have ever had. Replacing our Brita filtered water not only saved space but improved on the taste as well as convenience. The easy access controls for temp, humidity etc also are wonderful features. In short we couldn’t be happier.

Not the quality I expect from Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Holds the refrigerator and freezer compartments at the set temperature.
Cons: 1. The rubber liners for the door bins were all missing except for two. I ordered them by talking with a Whirlpool Customer Service person twice and was sent the incorrect liners both times, so I gave up.
2. The bins in the refrigerator are all made of extremely thin and flimsy plastic and stick when sliding in and out. My previous Kitchenaid refrigerator had nice sturdy shelves and slid in and out easily and smoothly.
3. The water dispenser inside the refrigerator takes two hands to operate, one to hold the receptacle and one to press the button above the dispenser. My previous model had the button where it could be pressed by holding the receptacle against it which was much easier to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had limited options because of narrow space available, and this model fit into the space. We wish there was an option with a flat front instead of the slightly curved/bowed doors. One complaint we have is that the interior water dispenser button is above the spout, which forces you to use two hands to fill a glass; if the button was below the spout you could fill using one hand, which would be more convenient. We would have appreciated a user manual to explain the intended or best way to use the different drawers in the refrigerated section. Otherwise, the refrigerator works fine and we are happy with it...

Problems with freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator seems good but we have been having trouble with the freezer. It keeps icing up. The back has ice all over it, the light switch is frozen and not working, the rails have so much ice on them that it's difficult to pull the drawers out, and the food is full of frost. We have had it for one month. A repairman has been here twice and has ordered a fan because he thinks it may not be working properly. Service has been prompt and courteous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
