Not the Quality expected from KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the appearance of the KitchenAid french door refrigerator. The vegetable and fruit bins do not slide easily and the tab to indicate what is in the drawer broke the first week. The plastic is flimsy, when you slide in the drawer the tab gets caught in the drawer. I pulled out the full length storage drawer, which i Love, to find the plastic *window* had popped out. It does not just snap back in place, and now the temperature controlled drawer is no longer that. I love the outward appearance of the refrigerator but that's about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its roomy, easy access, great water dispenser, well lit, lots of ice .... beeps to alert us if we accidentally leave the door open a crack...the freezer is a bit small but other than that it's perfect. I could not be happier I would buy it again. Thank you KitchenAid

Plus the pullout freezer on the bottom is great, it's so much bigger than the regular top of the fridge freezer. We would definitely buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this particular refrigerator because of a space issue. This Kitchen Aid fit perfectly between our counter top and exterior wall, and also allowed a bit of "breathing" space against the wall so the left door could open more.
We wanted Kitchen Aid applainces to replace our old appliances because we knew they were superior products. We have owned them before and never been disappointed.
This refrigerator offers more than enough interior cooling space and has easy access via the French doors. The interior shelves are all adjustable to fit just about any need for storage (even a turkey). There is a little drawer to hold stuff like bacon, cheese, etc. that is very easy to get to. The bottom freezer is great but is taking us time to get used to. The ice dispenser and ice cube collection tray also need time to get aquainted with, especially since we were used to using a door type of dispenser.
There also is a neat water dispenser located inside the left door on the wall of the refrigerator that works fine. It gives cold, clean water in seconds, and is a clever design since an exterior dispenser was not possible in this model. Interesting that because of the absence of an ice and/or water dispenser on the outside door, this model presents a clean, smooth look on the stainless steel doors. from top to bottom. Nice touch! Great look! The long, vertical, door pull bars also make a bold statement to ad to the clear, sleek exterior design.
We have only owned this refrigerator for a few weeks but so far it has met all of our expectations. We are very happy with it. Great product.
Note: We have just purchased a matching stove and microwave---they also look and work great! Dishwasher next!! I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" still has validity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for 2 weeks now. It looks really nice and seems to run quietly. I was concerned about this after reading some other reviews. It takes a couple of weeks to get the best placement for food items. The stainless finish is very beautiful and bright (I had a stainless before I purchased this one and it wasn't as nice). The left door with the folding seal is an odd design that I haven't seen in other French door models. I worry that over time this will malfunction. I really liked the built in metal wine rack. You can have several unopened bottles cooling without taking up prime real estate in your refrigerator. Warning to other buyers that this is not counter depth. I wish Kitchen Aid would make a smaller model (33inches) that was counter depth. The dealer sold this to me as counter depth. Do you research before you buy to get exactly what you want as salesmen are not always giving you the correct information.
