KitchenAid quality!

We needed to buy a new refrigerator because our three year old LG quit working and couldn’t be repaired. We researched several brands and decided on this KitchenAid model. We are glad we did! It has an internal water dispenser and ice maker. While not as convenient as an external dispenser, the water is colder and the ice maker is exceptional. This is a great product and it’s made in the USA!

Modern, beautiful, lots of features, noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love almost everything about this refrigerator. It's a dreamy color (almost like a dark mink brown) and very spacious. Love the wine rack, split shelf, adjustable door racks, wide pantry drawer and bottom freezer. The vegetable and fruit drawers are small, but that's minor. The main downside is that the refrigerator runs constantly and is noisy. Granted, we have a small house, but it's noticeably louder than the small 1997 Roper it replaced. I've noticed the refrigerator has literally run all day long today. Doors are fully shut with fridge set to 39 and freezer to 0. I can hear it loudly whirring from the next room. The refrigerant knocks really loudly through the appliance. We don't use the icemaker and have it turned off (arm fully up). It is not warm outside (cool front - 75 degrees all day). The space around the appliance is adequate and clear. It's level. It's not overstuffed, we haven't put anything warm in it, and the doors aren't opened frequently. I did not think it was normal for a modern energy-efficient refrigerator to run loudly for hours, but it is cooling fine. It just now kicked off while I was writing this review - it kicked on around 7:30 a.m. (announced by the knocking of the refrigerant). If it ran like this at night and was quiet during the day, maybe I could deal better with it. Despite the noise, this brand and model the best refrigerator for our space and budget.

Loud as heck!

Loudest fridge I ever had! It's been less than a year and I regret it tremendously. Especially being home more due to Covid-19, when this fridge starts to cycle, it drives me nuts. I'm considering to get rid of it but I don't know anyone I dislike enough to gift it to. Very dissapointing purchase.

Fabulous French Door Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator back in March 2021 and it took 7 months for it to be delivered in October. We were quite frustrated that it took so long but now that we have received it we are loving it! This was an upgrade from an old Norge refrigerator that was most likely the original appliance in our home. We find there is ample space inside the refrigerator compartment. Love the option of the hide-a-way shelf for taller items, love that our 4l jug of milk doesn’t take space up in the main compartment but can be stored on the door. There is an inside water spout (instead of outside on the door) which so far works fine. Water is cold all the time which is nice! The only complaint with having the water inside is after you hold a glass there and push the button, if you take it away too fast the excess water from the spout drips to the deli drawer below. I’m finding water sitting there in the crevice and on the ledge. So with our kids we have to remind them to wipe it up or hold their glass there for a few seconds to catch to drip. The bottom freezer compartment has ample space for the food. We did have an issue with regulating the temperature inside as we were finding the entire inside would frost up terribly. We had set the temps to what the manufacturer suggested but found it was too cold and the lighting wouldn’t work as the catch would freeze up. We’ve played around with the temps and have been able to set it now where all works fine. All in all we’ve had no real issues to speak of. We’ve only had it a month so hopefully it will continue to impress us!

Lemon of a Fridge! Don’t Buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy this product! The technician has been to my house twice in the first week to fix. The temperature gauge is not maintaining the correct temperature in the fridge and the defroster tube was plugged with garbage from the factory and was not defrosting properly. I had water leaking onto my floor after each defrost cycle. Totally unacceptable. Kitchenaid and the sales company could not have cared less since they were already paid and they got their commissions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a house that had a small opening for the refrigerator and this model fit well. (I owned a larger French-Door KitchenAid in our previous house). I like the style and it's a quiet-running refrigerator. My only disappointment is the poor quality drawers. The tab that controls the humidity on the drawer snapped off in the first week of owning it. The plastic is thin; the drawers don't glide in smoothly. We haven't hooked up the water dispenser yet, but from past experience, I like the KitchenAid interior dispenser because it allows for more storage inside.

22 Cu.Ft. 33-inch Width Standard Depth French Door Refrig

Verified Purchase:Yes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase a refrig. with a lower freezer but finding it O.K. The refrig. replaces a top freezer KitchenAid I purchased 23 years ago so I'm a bit spoiled. One can tell there have been some cost saving steps in overall quality (shelves, adjustable door shelves, etc) but I am still very happy with it. Ice maker makes smaller ice cubes than what I am use to but O.K. Noise level is low. Freezer portion does a good job in keeping ice cream etc. frozen. If you pull the pull-out bins too far they fall out--not a reliable stopper built in (again probably another cost savings) and takes awhile to get use to in terms of how far you can extend. Overall, I would purchase again.

Replaced an old Amana fridge as part of our kitchen remodel, huge energy savings by purchasing a new fridge. Features are great, the black SS finish goes very well with our new kitchen layout.
