However, the freezer portion is too small since the icemaker takes up the majority of the pull out drawer portion. Not enough room to put everything in it that our prior top freezer had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the new one fit in the same space as the old one we figured it had the same capacity. WRONG! not even close. The meat tray is a joke no room for a chicken or roast let alone a turkey.
The left door does not always close properly & the left light sw has to be flicked frequently to work.
Shelves do not go full to back causing smaller bottles to drop down. The 2 vegetable bins don't hold as much as the one in my old frig. We have taken to laying juice containers down to get them to fit. I think that the new control pod spread across at the top center may be making the intuitive upright storage very limited. The water dispenser is awkward requiring 2 hands to operate, could have had the activator below the spout activated by the vessel. The ice hopper takes up to much room went back to ice trays which allow things to be placed on top of them. Sloped sides in the freezer trays make it awkward to make use of the full capacity for flat sided containers. The openings in the freezer bins are excessive causing small items to fall thru, could be closer together or perforated. The draw like feature of the bins uses storage space to function causing a reduction in capacity.
The wine tray is a curiosity we were able to store more wine in the past in the door of the old frig than we can in the new one.
There is more but I have run out of time and inclination to continue sensing that I am providing an excessive amount of information that you would rather not be confronted with.
I still like my KitchenAid mixer with its wide range of accessories.
