Love the new fridge, but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the new fridge very much, its appearance, its ability to keep everything cold, the control panel and the huge amount of space there is inside. All great! Thanks.
There are however two design flaws that are annoying.
1. The cheese drawer can not be opened unless both main doors are opened. The lid on the cheese door comes into contact with both the right and left door preventing opening unless both outer doors are opened.
2. Both vegetable drawers can "fall out" when they are being opened if they are not carefully and slowly opened. The "catch mechanism," or the "stop" on the top of each drawer does not adequately engage with the corresponding "stop" on the left and right guide rails.
Note: Our previous refrigerator that was also manufactured by Whirlpool has the same vegetable and cheese drawer design and the problems listed in #1. and 2. above did not happen.
Other than those two issues the fridge was a good purchase.

One of the few black fridges available

Not worth the money

I did my homework and wanted a appliance that of better quality, sadly disappointed. The drawers are very cheaply made and don’t slide easily. The handles on the doors are loose . The ice maker doesn’t know when to stop and when you slide out the top drawer, where the ice cubes are they fall down the back and all over the place sometimes onto the floor sometimes into areas that you can’t reach.

Noisy

I’m disappointed with this refrigerator. Even after carefully leveling it, the unit still vibrates noticeably. It’s also quite loud while running, and when the cooling cycle stops, a part inside shakes and creates an entirely different noise. Overall, the constant sounds are frustrating, and I wouldn’t purchase this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
