All we need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge has all the amenities needed in a clean, streamlined package. We like the water inside, and the icemaker in the freezer. The wide drawer inside accommodates cheeses, lunchmeats, berries and more and is convenient. Door bins are capacious. The only thing I'd like better is a surface that is easier to keep fingerprints off of.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace an old refrigerator which had a fairly small footprint. I found this Kitchen Aid model would fit the available space. Consumer Reports rated it quiet, and it certainly is. The kitchen is part of a great room, and this refrigerator is not always easy to hear. The lights are very bright inside, which helps to see everything on the shelves. The meat drawer runs the width of the refrigeration compartment and holds a lot, though you do have to open both doors wide to access it. My only disappointment is the depth of the crispers, as I am a vegetarian and used to have much more storage for fruits and vegetables in my old refrigerator. The freezer stores all that I need. Overall, I am very happy with this model and would recommend it.

A Good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like Kitchenaid refrigerators. The alarm system is a nice feature if one fails to close the doors completely.
The handle on the freezer door requires improvement. It comes loose over time because when one pulls on it there is an upward pull. The handle should have a hindge to allow it to come upwards about 45 degrees when pulled out or pushed in then it falls back to 90 degrees when idle. Alternatively the allan screw is too small to tighten and hold tight. After one year I can not tighten or loosen the allan screw. So the handle moves/is loose all the time.

New appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought all new KitchenAid appliances for our newly remodeled kitchen (refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. Everything seems to be working great. We purchased the (what I call slate gray) stainless steel. It is a nice contrast to our white cabinets and does not seem to have finger print issues like the standard stainless steel.

I love all the features of this fridge, the wine rack is a nice added little bonus, the fridge is nice and brite, to see all the way to the back. The freezer is a nice size, I wasn't sure i would like the wire baskets in the freezer but it's actually not bad at all! Overall a wonderful fridge and I'm happy with our purchase.
