Would not pay full price---buy on discount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For something so expensive, the design could use some work. The crisper drawers are rough to close and feel flimsy, and the wine bottle rack keeps falling out of its grooves with the slightest bump. The partitions in the freezer just get in the way, so I had to remove some of them to make the freezer drawer more versatile in what can fit there. The water dispenser in the fridge sometimes drips for no apparent reason. The door shelves are kind of small and it is sometimes necessary to play fridge tetris to fit everything we need to in it. Other than that, it keeps food cold, the shelves in side the fridge can be moved around a bit so you can fit what you need, and it looks nice. I would definitely only buy if you can get a discount, like with the Whirlpool Insider Pass. I can't really compare this to other modern refrigerators, and from what I hear they are all kind of going to crap and are probably all not worth the price (planned obsolescence), but KitchenAid used to be a really good name in appliances. Not sure they are worth the hype any more.

Disappointed with missing parts

I've had this fridge just over a week. Very disappointed that it did not come with the advertised Produce Preserver OR the fridge door shelf mats as shown in all the online fridge photos and also a big selling point with our salesman. I called the helpline and after nearly an hour on chat I thought she had ordered me the Produce Preserver, unfortunately it just arrived and its just the refill. Not a lot of use without the holder. The inside water dispenser keeps dripping, hoping this stops or I will have to call out a repair man. I was really hoping to love this fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new refrigerator!

The Shelves That Stopped Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge 2 months ago. The fridge works well but the back of the shelves is 2.5 inches away from the back of the fridge. Lots of things fall down the back of the fridge. Really quite silly. This fridge should probably be avoided.

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a similar Kitchenaid refrigerator 10 years ago and loved everything about it except for one thing. Recently we moved and decided to update appliances. We bought a new Kitchenaid, and 10 years later, it still has the same problem. Occasionally the water dispenser freezes, and I have to take the produce drawers out in order to thaw it with a hair dryer. We love everything else about it. It's quiet, roomy and food is easy to access. We just don't know why Kitchenaid can't solve this one issue.

Very Nice Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this about a month, still getting used to it but I do like it French doors are different than what I was used to have to close left side before closing the right side. And not use to the noise it makes filling up water / ice machine. Also is there an automatic shut off for ice when filled.
