Sealed unit failed

I bought this unit 6 years ago. The sealed unit has a 10 year warranty. The sealed unit failed and now Whirlpool won't stand behind their warranty. They are offering me 25% off a new unit. What's the point of a warranty if the company that provides it won't stand by and honour it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very high price but extremely low quality

I’ve owned this refrigerator for roughly about a month and have to say that this is the cheapest feeling, flimsiest refrigerator I’ve ever seen or had. Everything feels extremely cheap, from the fruit/vegetable drawers to door shelves, as if it will break in your hand! For the hefty price tag this fridge has I’d expect much, MUCH better quality!
Too bad LG still has compressor issues otherwise would have purchased from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible product. Avoid at all cost.

Horrible product. Avoid at all cost. Fridge stopped cooling after 4 years. I contacted Kitchen Aid at the time and they told me it was out of warranty. They made me pay for an extended warranty which I didn't need since the cooling system is covered 5 years under their base warranty. Over the following year they sent multiple technicians to fix the problem and replaced many parts but to this day it is still not functioning properly. After 2 years they now refuse to repare or replace the fridge. On top of that many plastics inside the fridge broke with a normal usage. The quality of finish of the product is also horrible you can see glue between the plastics and the stainless steel on the outside. I tought I was paying more for a quality product but it ended up being a nightmare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
