Great fridge 6 months in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hesitant to get this fridge based on some negative reviews, but after 6 months this fridge has been great to us. I remember reading that the shelves did not touch the back of the fridge leaving a decent gap between the back wall of the fridge and the shelf, causing wasted space and also potential for items to fall, but this has turned out to be a non issue. The fridge has plenty of great space. We had an lg that was the same size previously , and this fridge seems to hold a lot more. The suspended wine rack is a nice feature. It's very well lit and very quiet. I love the sleek look of the front door with no water or ice on the front (both being inside). Was worried about losing space in the freezer for the ice compartment, but there is still lots of room and i haven't regretted it. The only complaint I have is when you pull out the fruit/veggie drawers they slide right out, so they're constantly falling out of their compartments which is annoying, but i just have to get used to not pulling them out as far as i do. Otherwise a great fridge.

Very good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've bought the French door style of fridge for quite a while now and this KitchenAid model is one of the best we've had in a reasonable price range. The stainless-steel exterior is easy to clean, we like the interior water dispenser, the ice cubes are a nice size and the cubes are clear unlike the opaque ice our last fridge made.

Real Good Fridge

My KitchenAid Refrigerator Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new KitchenAid refrigerator two months ago, and I do have some concerns with the following parts:
. The shelves' corners have a very sharp pointed end that everyone in my family has cuts on their arms when we reach to get an item. It is a hazardous and uncomfortable design.
. The freezer started to build ice at the bottom shelf.
. A screw came off, and we do not know from which part.

French Door Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only downside to fridge is interior water dispenser requires 2 hands to operate. Push button should have been below nozzle to allow for 1 hand operation. Competitor models have this better setup.

A big mistake of a purchase

This fridge was a big mistake of a purchase.
Our LG died after a second repair & my wife said no more LG, she now regrets that.

The interior is substantially smaller than the same size fridge of a different brand. The unit seems to have a massive backwards lean, despite having an almost level floor & no such problems with previous fridges, so far the doors banged so much I had to cut strips of wood to shim the back. The freezer drawer is terrible, this basket design, that is supposed to have better air flow, is small & doesn’t move well at all, often difficult to push in. Not to mention that it never moves smoothly, even when completely empty.
This fridge is so annoying the the wife & I both leave the doors wide open whilst doing things in the kitchen because it’s such a pain dealing with them. We’re both waiting for it to die so we can get rid of it, which means it never will.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking and fits our space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is a replacement that finally was granted after a year of trying to fix our original... We were thrilled to be approved for a replacement after several attempts over a years time to fix a slow freon leak. Luckily all the repairs and parts were covered under our warranty. Be sure to register your appliance and keep your proof of purchase :)
We really like this fridge. Very few fit the spot in our kitchen these days. Our only complaints are how deep it is - things sometimes get lost in the back. This new fridge has drawers and shelves that seem to be a bit warped so things dont slide in and out easily. We should probably call about this. We like the freezer on the bottem with the ice maker as well as the water fill on the inside so the outside looks sleek and clean. MUST comment on how fantastic our delivery and installation guy was. Loved him! He was great with attention to detail and professionalism. BRAVO!
