Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 6 months of waiting for a Maytag French Door refrigerator with a door ice/water dispenser that never came ... we decided to abandon our wait for the KitchenAid floor model. So glad we did! We’ll never know if we’ll miss the door dispenser or not, but we’re very pleased with the accessibility and space this appliance provides.

Very functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well laid out. Love refrig shelf that can be pushed back so that I can stand up tall bottles now and then. Lots of functional space in cabinet and doors. Meat/cheese drawer on bottom seems to hold much more than previous refrig. Max ice button is nice when getting ready for party, When I have taken everything out to clean it, the Max Cool is a nice feature to get everything cooled down again. Wishes: louder door open alarm or a two step alarm (louder if you don't hear it the first time). There are lots of us with hearing loss, tinnitus or the TV on in the kitchen. All three are true for me. :-( I saw a refrig with LED lighting down the side which made it easier to find stuff even when the refrigerator is very full. I put a little spray silicone on the 3 hinges for the flap that goes between the two doors when it closes and now find the left door left open less of the time.

Outstanding customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for almost a year now, because my previous model started leaking freon and needed to be replaced. Kitchen Aid did a great job honoring the warranty, providing prompt service people to keep it going until the replacement arrived. All at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. They communicated with me regularly and did everything within their power to resolve it quickly and were always professional. All of my small appliances are KitchenAid, and now any of my large items that need to be replaced will be with KitchenAid.
The fridge is easy to clean, and all of the drawers and shelves are easy to remove and replace. The freezer space is ample for my family of five and the ice is quick to replenish. The only suggestion I would have is to add a little more lighting. I find that the light in the top of the fridge can be blocked with product and then there isn't light to diffuse to the lower shelves. Maybe something on the sides? Is it possible to have recessed lighting in a fridge? ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator temperature is difficult to regulate. The gasket on the door ripped. The cold cut cover cracked. The water dispenser is not in a convenient location.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well-made but inconvenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good refrigerator, but doesn't work well in our space. I find it very inconvenient to have 2 doors. Because it's a thin model, you can't fit anything wide through the left side door. You have to open both doors in order to put anything on the left side. So, it runs well, but I don't really care for it. I wish I could return it and get a model with one door on the top.

Good, but one annoying thing.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator some 3 years ago. It works OK , is a bit to noisy but the very annoying thing is sliding the both drawers for veggies and fruits. This absolutely needs to be improved for this class of fridge

Holds all we need and more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 10 months ago to replace one that I loved. I've found this new refrigerator to be more than I expected - love this one! There is a lot of room, more than one thinks.. The cheese drawer is great; the bottle rack helps keep those uprights out of the way; the door shelves are roomy. My husband loves the cold water dispenser just inside the left door. Ice maker works great; freezer holds a lot. Just a great all around appliance.
We are limited to a specific size space for the refrigerator and this fits perfectly. It's easy to move for cleaning underneath and behind it once a year.
