Has horrible rattle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this one year, it has had a noisy rattle that has progressively gotten worse to the point it wakes me in the night. I love the style and design, and it fits perfectly in my kitchen, but I know it’s just a matter of time before it’s going to cost me. If you buy, I would recommend the extra warranty.....I wish I had purchased it, but unfortunately I trusted the brand. One other thing is the freezer handle was replaced under warranty, but still won’t stay tight....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great refrigerator

Water fountain inside fridge. I like water taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look and option to have water fountain inside . My sister has an older model of the same and the water inside fridge is good! I would prefer fridge handles closer to fridge. My fridge is located near a doorway and handles stick out further than my old fridge.

We bought this a couple of months ago really disappointed in the inside of Ref. the draws that hold the produce and fruit are so cheap, every time you open them they feel like they are going to fall apart. I thought Kitchenaid would be the right choice for us. Better construction made a lot stronger. We are in our senior years this will be the last set of appliances that we will be buying. So disappointed

Great Interior Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were desperate for a fridge to fit the narrow opening in our ranch style home. We ended up purchasing KitchenAid and we are very pleased. It is a great refrigerator, wonderful interior lighting, maintains temperature and even has humidity control feature. We love the french door and wide spacious interior deli drawer, and we also love that the ice maker is inside and not on the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly good but... design needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bout this a couple months ago and the crisper drawers have been very stingy to open since day one. As a result the slide bracket fell out and the shelf and drawer dropped on top of the bottom drawer. I refastened the screw twice before calling for a warranty service. they are replacing the troubled parts but a better design would have avoided the issue. Went back to the store and the floor model worked better.
Other than that issue the refrigerator is good for the price. It is spacious and performs well. As with any French door/ bottom drawer units, you do need to make sure doors are closed and sealed completely to avoid condensation. The back of the fridge does also sometimes frost or freeze but not that frequent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is not the one I picked out because the contractor had the wrong specs for the cabinet but it is the one I ended up with. I cook a lot and entertain a lot, so the fridge it always pretty packed. I am a little disappointed with how the drawer shelf droops a little in the middle and I still have not figured out that slide back half shelf or truly the best way to organize stuff but it seems to do a good job overall. I have found food frozen at the back of the fridge with the setting at the number suggested by Kitchenaide. I also don't like that there isn't a place for eggs, but they do go on the shelf just as well I guess. Everyone love my water dispenser. I am still getting use to the lower freezer and how to pack it properly and efficiently. Not a huge fan of cleaning the stainless because it really never completely cleans but other wise it looks great. Loved the study feeling handles instead of some of the shotty plastic ones on other fridges.
