- Water dispenser on the inside. No more water stains on the outside of a black fridge
- Ice maker inside, allows for more storage space inside fridge. No more ice spilling out on the floor from an outside dispenser.
- Customizable split fridge shelving is a nice feature to accommodate occasional large/tall items.

Very nice fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and capacity of this fridge. The shelves and drawers are nice and slide easily. My only complaint is that there is a motor or something inside that makes a pretty loud humming noise sometimes. louder than I am used to hearing from a refrigerator. Otherwise, its a great unit and we're very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very spacious family size fridge, even temperature in freezer and main area as well, it loses one star as the stainless shows the fingerprints, to bad not same as dishwasher stainless and then it would be 5 star. Excellent ice maker inside freezer and filtered interior dispense water as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

door shelves aren't deep enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very disappointed in this frig. The door shelves are very narrow in depth. The rounded corners also take away enough space so there's not room for two side-by-side gallons.

First time with Kitchenaid

Hopefully it will be a good choice as I have only had for 1 month to soon for review. Was just like my Amana, which our Utility company fried with a surge, but didn't take responsiblity for, so we will see.

Overpriced frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the stainless steel is not stainless steel. It's magnetic and is nothing more than a surface that looks like stainless steel. Worse, it shows every single contact point. Despite efforts by a repair tech and me, the poor packaging practices employed cause the freezer drawer gasket to not seal properly. Subsequently, ice forms at the top of the drawer and prevents the freezer light switch from working.
A unit of this size should have front-activated rear levelers. The Germans figured it out a long time ago. Try to catch up.
The side by side doors each cause the other to open when one is shut with the least amount of force. One nice feature is the alarm that sounds to let know this is another glitch that hasn't been attended to.

Good Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a little over a month ago. It's a great fridge/freezer. There is plenty of space. I wish there were an option to get solid freezer drawers, but very few of the fridges we looked at had them. There is plenty of space in the freezer. The inside water dispenser is a great feature and means you don't have to have an ugly built in one on the door (we mostly drink room-temp water so we don't tend to open/close the door a lot just for water). There is a slight knocking noise that happens sometimes but it goes away after a few seconds.
Overall we are happy with this fridge and would buy it again.
