I purchased it over a month ago and I'm really happy that I have. I open the right door and with a glance I see everything I have there, without moving anything. When I open both doors it's is almost like going to the grocery, everything is displayed in front of me. I have other KitchenAid appliances purchased in 2002: Heavy Duty, Super washer and dryer (I needed a new belt in the dryer about 3 years ago; Micro wave and stove combination Superba & Whirpool Gold dish washer. Why would I purchase any other brand? The products have proven themselves to me over & over.

We replaced our 15 years old side by side K A refrigerator/freezer with a french door bottom freezer unit. The refrigerated items are now more assessable with the side by side door configuration; the drawer freezer is a major improvement over our past shelf type storage which often resulted in frozen bombs falling on our feet. The icemaker storage is much less than our old refrig but it's adequate for our needs.
We don't usually get emotionally attached to our kitchen appliances, but, in this case, WE LOVE SUKI, OUR NEW KITCHEN AID REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER.

We have now owned this unit for 6 weeks. The interior space of this unit is not used effectively especially on the doors. The vegetable drawers and pantry are not fitted well and are made of flimsy materials therefore we are afraid of them breaking. The temperature does appear to be kept well. We bought this because our previous unit died after 8 years and we are expecting this unit to last significantly longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very cold, runs quiet, and looks nice., interior drawers cheap. Bottom pull out lid keeps popping off. Vegetable drawer doesn't stay shut, and it's a little small inside. Definitely would go one size bigger next time.

I have my new KitchenAid refrigerator for about 2 months and I really love it so far. It is very stylish and has plenty of room in the top refrigerator area with the French doors that I really think look great. The bottom freezer also has plenty of room, unlike most of the other refrigerators I was considering. I love the water feature on the inside of the refrig. because it takes up no extra space like other models. I also love the inside design especially the large covered sliding drawer, that when pulled forward, the cover opens up. That being said, I am so disappointed that the cover to that drawer does not stay on while being opened, it constantly pops off. A definite design flaw which I hope can be fixed, I plan to contact KitchenAid about this and see what can be done. I also think it would be great if they designed the top freezer drawer to slide out automatically when opening the freezer. I recommend getting a good stainless steel cleaner to help keep it looking shiny without too much effort. Overall I am very happy with my new frig.
