We remodeled our kitchen and bought all new Kitchenaid appliances. Thought we were upgrading. Nope. Refrigerator is a big disappointment. French doors never close all the way. Door ajar alarm doesn't alert you that the door is open all the time. And when it does it takes like 5 minutes before it makes a sound. Drawers seem like they are going to break soon, very flimsy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Builder chose this and I hate it

Builder picked this fridge for me and I hate it. It makes horrible vibrating noises. Doors won't stay closed ( Left door stays open if you don't push it all the way closed), freezer drawers are not smooth and a pain to pull open, have to open BOTH doors to open the deli or veggie containers ( poor design). AND today I woke up to a broken freezer with everything melted after ONE MONTH of use. Temp controls won't work and the fridge is gaining a degree every 30 minutes. And the next Saturday repairman is ONE MONTH AWAY. I am a busy doctor and am having to cancel patients to handle a brand new appliance. This is why I bought a brand new home. My time is too valuable to sit around waiting for repairmen. And after reading other reviews, I wonder how long it will take to fix this. I WANT A DIFFERENT MODEL and will be talking to the builder TODAY.

We purchased this because it seemed to divide the food well and we liked all the drawers. I still have to be sure I close the freezer drawer and close the front doors correctly since we aren't used to that but we live our choice

We've had this fridge installed for about 2 months now and have been very satisfied. Have a large family and all of the space is fantastic! Look of the unit is very premium and many people have commented on how cool the handles are on this unit. Only negative we've encountered so far is the speed at which water dispenses from the inside door. Love the filtered water feature, but with large family constantly filling up bottles, seems to tank a long time. Wonder if settings can be adjusted to dispense faster?
