Cheap Parts Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago. The shelves and inside parts looked so cheap and almost all the shelves were either broken or scratched. I am still yet get the replacement parts as per my complaint to the dealership. I had high hopes on KitchenAid products, but it has reduced after buy this fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful but loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clean look of this refrigerator and the features inside are of good quality. The issue that we have is that it is very loud. I can hear it run in our bedroom which is quite a ways away from the kitchen. We have had a repair person out to look at it and they say nothing is wrong. We have only had it a month and really I wish we could return it for a different, quieter model.

Who's in charge of design?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I've purchased this particular model. The first one was great, except that the design of the lower cheese drawer had a ver squeaky wheel that I find most annoying. The new one replaced that with a much better design - a simple plastic slide that doesn't squeak. However, the first one had a well-designed interior water dispenser. Press the glass against the switch, and water was dispensed. The new design requires two hands! What? What fool came up with that idea? The first one had a nice tall ice bin with an ice scoop. The new one has a flat bin that takes more room, with no dispenser. Cost savings, I suppose. I'm not impressed. I won't buy a third of this model.

Not Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not Happy! Repair man came out and repaired the leaking water coming from under the new Refrigerator on 11-21-2024. Water is still leaking my floor, I'm still not happy! Repairman is now rescheduled to come back on 12-3-2024. Why is this leaking?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kitchenaid French door refrigerator. I purchased the first on in 2008 and just this year needed to replace it. Since I was very satisfied with my first one, I did not hesitate to purchase the updated new model. My first one came with a lot of extra accessory pieces that I really liked, i. e. butter tray and a bin separator. No accessories came with the new one. I wish I would have known this in time to remove the existing accessories and keep them for the new refrigerator! Irregardless, the new fridge is great!
