Not the same as the version it replaced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the handle style better than the model it replaced, I was disappointed that one handle is not properly secured, just having received delivery is already clinking and wabbly. Also, since the refrigerator was dropped while still shrink wrapped, and the old one removed (which was a predecessor model), I was disappointed that the liners for the smaller bins and the divider for the deli-platter-large bin was not included. Those items were extremely helpful and I would have retained them had I known they were being eliminated. Otherwise, it has the same features as the one I replaced (which was only replaced due to a problem with the ice maker after 12 years). We elected to replace rather than pay a large service fee on a 12 year old fridge - but now I'm truly questioning whether we should have just kept the old model given the initial quality issues discovered upon unwrapping the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. The dimensions are completely impractical and impossible to work with. The shelves are awkward and they do not allow you to stand drinks up bc there is no room between shelves unless you remove one entirely. The freezer is an abomination. You cannot successfully organize anything. There simply is not enough space made strategically for storing at all. It looks great until you get it home and fill it up. Impractical, expensive and a waste of money for the product.

Terrible Refrigerator

Purchased this fridge as part if a kitchen remodel and it's far the worst appliance I have ever owned. As some of the other reviewers have noted, the freezer doesn't work properly so now our freezer is one big chunk of ice and the light inside is frozen to the off position. We had the fridge repaired under warranty, but the repair was unsuccessful, which we discovered a couple months later when the humidity increased. The warranty is now expired and customer service is telling me we have to make a further repair out of pocket. I'm extremely disappointed; I'd strongly advise not to purchase this.

Interior water dispenser issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. We will not be using the interior water dispenser after trying it a few times. Really bad design as it drips after getting water from it. No where for the water to drain except drip down the inside of the refrigerator itself.

Freezer drawer drags and is difficult to slide open and closed. Refrigerator doors do not close properly. If right door is closed first...it 'pops' open slightly and is often not noticed as being ope...when the left door is closed. This causes loss of refrigeration and the temperature in the refrigerator rises.

I bought this fridge a year ago. We use our fridge a lot. It is noisy, the internal water spigot ices up all the time. Food at the back of the compartment freezes up. The plastic trays are flimsy, and were poorly toleranced at manufacture. They don't fit properly and pop off all the time. The stainless steel front scratches very easily. The handles don't really match with anything else on the market except other kitchen aide stuff.
