[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying my new refrigerator. The ice maker in the freezer is a big improvement. Plus having the water tap in the refrigerator adds to the clean look of the refrigerator and actually dispenses cold water. The versatility of the interior has made it easier to store food in both the refrigerator and freezer.

Love it but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new KitchenAid refrigerator however there seems to be an issues with the freezer door. When we pull to open it from the middle and right side of the handle, it's fine. When we pull from the left side of the handle, it doesn't work smoothly. We reached out to the place where we bought it and were told there was nothing they could do. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fridge works great and is very aesthetically pleasing. Having the water dispenser inside the door really helps free up some space. Only nock is the left door can be a little stiff in closing. If you aren't careful, just lightly giving the door a little push isn't enough and your fridge will not close all the way. You manually have to apply pressure until the door closes. Might be a nucense if you have kids or teens that arent mindful of these things. One nice feature is if you happen to forget to close the door all the way, an alarm will sound.

I bought this fridge with a few other KitchenAid appliances for our new house. I HATE THIS FRIDGE. The only thing I like about this fridge is the water filter made the water taste great...but that's literally it. If something leaks on the top, it leaks ALL THE WAY DOWN each level...there is no design feature to control something that has spilled or leaked. (My earlier Samsung had this protection). The rear of the unit freezes food, no matter that we have it on a medium setting, and the front doesn't get cold enough. The freezer has steadily dripped water to the bottom, even after turning off the ice feature, creating a glacier that I have to force the door open because there is ice in the way of the pulleys. And now it has decided to frost everything over because the seal isn't real good. AND the alarm system which tells you if a door was left open beeps so softly you can't hear it and it's not irritating enough to make you think you left a door open. And for whatever it's cubic square feet is...I swear I can't fit anything it there! There has not been one appliance that I've been more disappointed with in the cadre of appliances we purchased for this house than this fridge.

Compressor went out in 6 months

Compressor went out in 6 months and warranty doesn't help with any food spoilage while we waited 3 days to get a replacement.

Freezer section doesn't maintain temperature

Bought fridge freezer in July 2022 along with Kitchenaid range, range hood, dishwasher, microwave. Since July 2024 we have had 6 repair visits, first to replace compressor, rest because freezer randomly auto defrosts and freezer temp fluctuates up by sometimes 4 degrees - enough to cause some things to also begin defrosting/softening. Keep being told this is normal but I don't think so. Very disappointed. Beware, sales and service personnel state these things rarely last beyond 5-6 years. We haven't got half of that yet.
