Replaced Ice Maker in 4 month old fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of the fridge. However, after only being about 4 months old, the ice maker just stopped working one day. Kitchen Aid contacted a contract repairman for us. Kitchen Aid rep states the repair guy would be out in three days. The repair company called and it actually took two weeks. Then the guy needed another week to order a new ice maker. Hopefully, we don't have any more problems with this appliance. We bought Kitchen Aid for reliability, and we are not off to a great start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought this fridge over a month ago and we are so happy. I just love that the water and ice dispenser are now inside the fridge. I don't have water or ice all over the floor anymore. Plus, I love that the freezer is at the bottom now. i don't have to bend down as much. We had a side by side fridge/freezer before. This is so much better. Lots of room in the fridge. Plus we got the wider fridge. They said you need air space on the sides but it looked hideous with the smaller fridge. So now it's only 2/8" or 3/8" space on each side and it's fine. It was easy. It just rolls in and it looks perfect. There's enough air space at the top anyway for the air to circulate plus I felt air at the bottom coming out of the grill. Enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 28 cu ft side-by-side refrigerator was defective and it was exchanged with a 25 cu ft Kitchen-aid French Door refrigerator. I am still getting used to the new configuration, especially having a drawer for the freezer, but everything works well so far.
I do like that the ice dispenser is in the freezer drawer and not in the door, and I like the shape of the ice cubes better. I like the long drawer for cheese and meats, it has lots of room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a very disappointed compressor crash on my beloved LG side by side I was forced to buy another refrig. The KitchenAid came highly recommended but the side by side was so much more expensive and I.m not liking the freezer drawer. My biggest issue is that it is the NOISIEST appliance I have ever had. The clicking is 24 hours a day so annoying YES. Also why is so difficult to polish out smudges on the exterior ( been there since delivery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem ice and noise

This unit is noisy and the ice maker runs over the back when opening, something is missing on the tray?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my refrigerator. It stays cool very well. I would actually give a 4.5 star because the refrigerator door does not close completely regularly but the beep alerts you when you don't close it all the way to let you know its not all the way close. Everything else is really nice! Love the space for everything. Easy to organize it with water bottles and large door containers hold big stuff easily
I would recommend this to a friend!
