Lots of Space. Great Refrigerator and Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our refrigerator installed less than a year. A couple of months ago, our refrigerator was leaking from the back. It was a tubing. We scheduled service with an authorized dealer, but it took weeks before it was serviced. It was a simple plastic line replacement, which was done in less than 30 minutes when the part arrived. Everything works fine! We love having the ice maker within the freezer, which is what we searched for in models. The chances of having mildew growing within and about an outdoor water/ice dispenser is no longer a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not happy, and not getting any help from kitchenai

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn’t have it 10 months and noticed things were spoiling in refrigerator. Ice cream was soft in freezer. We had a repairman out. He said it probably didn’t work from the beginning. He put in a new compressor and it is working the same. Now we’ve had it over a year and no one will do anything or talk to us. We are very unhappy with the whole process. Need help with this.

Freezer cooling Issues

Don't buy

I owned my first KitchenAid appliance in the 1980's and have always been impressed with the quality and design, 3 dishwashers, 2 stoves, numerous small appliances, KitchenAid has always been my Go To. After this refrigerator was installed, I was assembling the shelves drawers etc. noticed the middle shelf was defective not secure to the left side and back of the Fridge. The only way to keep the shelf from moving up and down is when the drawer is shut. Also the water container behind middle shelf and produce drawers has exposed tubing and is surrounded by exposed Styrofoam. What were you thinking, Is this how it's supposed to be? Or is this a Monday Friday refrigerator. How are you supposed to keep this clean? So not real happy with the design, I like the inside of my fridge to be easy to clean how are you supposed to keep styrofoam clean? It's going back, which is unfortunate as I have always really liked KitchenAid appliances, currently I have a dishwasher and oven, stand mixer, hand mixer, blender list goes on, Beautiful appliances, well worth the money. This particular refrigerator is not worth the price tag, expected it to be of the same quality as any other KitchenAid appliance I have ever owned, also it is extremely noisy,

The interior water dispenser is a hit in our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this refrigerator for about 2 weeks and it seems to be keeping a steady temperature. It is pretty spacious and has a great interior water dispenser and ice maker (no unsightly water dispenser in the front). French doors are hard to align perfectly but other than that, so far so good.

Worse purchase I have ever made.

Bought this a few years ago. After the first year had to get it serviced because the freezer wasnt cold enough. Service tech told me that the freezer gets warped inside and I’d have to buy a new freezer compartment for 400 dollars. Gasket already needs to be replaced. Awful product. Will never buy kitchen aid again, will never recommend their product. They won’t stand up for their product.
