Awesome french door refrigerator with versatility

We entertain frequently and this refrigerator is up to the test when it comes to packing a lot of food in. Our catering team that we use simply love it. This Kitchenaid frig delivers everything and more than a comparable Subzero for substantially less money!

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this frig a couple months ago and are very happy with it. We had to recess the wall a few inches to make it counter depth but it was well worth it....lots of space inside....best thing is you can't even hear it running!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for about a month and love it!! Looks great in the kitchen and have had no issues with the function. Lots of room and in both the fridge and freezer compartments. I love the look and feel of the handles. The finish is prone to fingerprints so keep that in mind. I do wish the deli drawer was sealed but this is a small issue. Overall, excellent product as always from kitchenaid.

Has some design flaws

Bought this with 2 other kitchen appliances for a new home build. Its 7 months old, but we've only lived in the home for 2 months, as it took a while to sell our last
home. The fridge has functioned fine but has annoying design flaws. The most annoying is that the deli drawer lid falls off most of the time when pulling out the lowest drawer. The plastic tabs that hold the lid in are too short. I've seen videos on you tube that show how to make it better with plastic spacers, but why do I have to do this with a new expensive fridge? Dumb design.
The other problem is that standard pitchers do not fit unless you raise the shelves to accommodate, but then you lose storage space. I replaced my tall gallon pitchers with shorter, fatter pitchers which fit in the door and on shelves which don't have to be raised so much.
The other space problem is that storage on the top shelf is limited due to positioning of the filter compartment and light compartment, which hang down from the top and get in the way.
The bottom freezer drawer has a basket design rather than a closed drawer, so that small items fall through including ice cubes that I drop when getting them from the bin. I'd prefer a solid drawer.

Good upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are overall happy with this. A few design flaws. The inside filtered water button should be on the other side which is the first door you're supposed to open. The customer drawer requires you often both doors to access fully.
