Like it alot but it Gurgles & Hums!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it in November along with a slide in range and compact microwave/range hood. Really do like the refrigerator but it periodically gurgles and hums and rather loudly to boot! I'm reviewing based on the hope its part of the "break in period" so I'll be kind!

Just what I always wanted....

We bought the entire line, dual fuel range, undercounter microwave, diswasher and french door fridge. The fridge is the disappointment. It runs more than my old Kenmore did. Is that normal? The freezer drawer is hard to pull once loaded and the baskets go to the left if you don't pull them right. Also, we have been unable to tighten the handle on the freezer drawer so it remains constantly loose. Not the quality I expected from KitchenAid. My daughter has a huge Samsung fridge that works effortlessly compared to mine. After dreaming of this new kitchen for years it pains me to think that I will have to replace this beautiful fridge and ruin the look of all KitchenAid handles in my space. When I shop for a replacement I will still look at a KitchenAid first hoping that I just got a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge! The French Door design is so much handier to use than my previous side by side. I got it is stainless steel and it has elevated the eye candy level of my kitchen dramatically. (I had black appliances before.) I love the inside water dispenser versus the in-the-door type. I don't use a lot of ice, so the icemaker in the freezer is better for me. There is so much storage room in this fridge and it is surprisingly easy to keep the stainless steel fingerprint free. Also, it's super quiet.

Replacing our LG Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our LG refrigerator started leaking and replacement parts were no longer available to time for a new refrigerator. After looking and talking with a lot of folks we decided upon a Kitchenaid. So far it's been a great choice. The only thing I wish it had was a little larger freezer compartment and I wish the freezer door hinged out after pulling it open for better access.
