After the refrigerator was delivered a week late the first problem was the chill drawer was running between 20-24 degrees and freezing everything in the drawer. We called service and it was determined that this was common but no recall was ever issued. The service guy called the tech service dept. and they told him to get some caulking compound and that was their fix. The next issue was the drawers in the fridge. To take the drawers out the book tells you to use a screw driver which is impossible because there is no room. The service guy showed us how to remove the drawers. Note the normal drawer In most refrigerators can be pulled out and raised up and out they come. Not these drawers. You have to hold the drawer and put pressure on the little tab and struggle to get it to come out. If you have any arthritis in your hands this is impossible. Being in our mid to late 70's we need to call service to remove a drawer. Next the ice maker was leaning on one side so the service guy bent the frame and that fixed that problem.. Truthfully if we could have returned this refrigerator we would have done so immediately. Electrolux does make a model which has its own temp control on the chill drawer. The model also has drawers which are easy to remove. If we had known about this model we would have purchased it. I told customer care I would trade it the model we have for the other on and they laughed at me. Sorry folks, I was serious about that.

Very disappointed

We purchased this model approx 4 yrs ago, shortly after purchasing the ice maker needed to be replaced and have had problems ever since. Now after about 4 yrs it stopped working 3 days before Christmas and has ruined the entire contents ! Would never purchase another Electrolux appliance nor would recommend it to others

Not happy!

We purchased Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 7 years ago. Each one has been worked on two or more times. We are now having to replace our side by side due to a strange liquid substance oozing from the seal around the ice/water dispenser. It is taking the paint off as it oozes down the front if the freezer door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No room and freezes food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was in our home when we purchased it brand new. I am not a fan and would love to upgrade to a French door Electrolux!! Zero space and freezes a lot of our food in the refrigerator even when turned to 39degrees. Bummer!!
