Blu-Ray has issues

I am a big fan of Samsung products but I would not buy this player again knowing what I know now. I have to use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet for updating the firmware because it will NEVER connect to my wifi even with two different Samsung wifi adaptors. My Samsung TV connects in the same room with no problems and updates. Every other new movie I watch locks up the unit at the start of the movie and I have to turn it off and turn it back on before I can get it to play. The unit is too light and when I press the button to eject the disc the whole unit slides off the shelf.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, won't connect to wifit, constantly locking up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It would not allow me to connect to the internet. Had to return it.

not worth the cost

Just playing a disc has had constant issues. Not to mention the divices inability to connect to one of its apps in a timely man or. I have regretted buying this since the first day I brought it home.

Great match for my Samsung LED TV. Plugged in the HDMI cable and power cord. Within minutes was able to watch a DVD.

My Great 3d Blue Ray Player

Blue Ray unit was easy to hook up and use. So far I have played 3D movies, regular Blue ray movies, Old DVD's that are not blue ray, DVD's that I have created on my computer, and photo CD's. All played with easy and no problems. The quality of the movies that was shown on my TV WOW better that I remember them from when they first came out. Even better that my other blue ray player whish is slow compared to this one. Plus it has easy to use touch buttons that even my 3 year old grandson can work. Lovin this unit.
