Fabulous Product!!

An excellent purchase that performs exactly as described and in a short time has become indispensable. I can now attach important documents to my e-mails and have access in my home to a color photocopier. Very easy to operate and comes with useful software to adjust the output. Highly recommended.

Epson Perfection 4490 Photo Scanner

I've been in photography for nearly 40 years. I've never thrown a negative away. I have thousands of negatives. About 6 years ago I went digital, my enlarger and all associated equipment are now packed away in the attic. I began to despair of ever seeing the fruit of my film labor again. I resolved my concern with my acquisition of the Epson Perfection 4490 Photo Scanner. In 6 days I have scanned in excess of 100 negatives - 35 mm, 120, 2 1/4 square, 6x7 cm, color, black and white. This tool provides me with very high quality digital files; it's ease of use and versatility are beyond anything I had hoped for. Thanks Epson.

This is my second scanner from the same brand and I even if the use I gt from it is not very much, I still like more over other brands.

Have converted about 1000 slides to digital photos. Slides taken over 30 yr period. Photos are so good , I threw out all the slides and cassettes - will have on CDs and Flash drives for as long as that technology lasts.
Couldnt have done it without the 4490.

I LOVE this scanner! It is easy to use - 1-2-3 and the pictures come out very well.
I'm very glad I purchased this particular one. I can't wait to use it to restore some of my other photos!

This unit gives excellent results when scanning slides. Especially happy about the ability to scan 2 1/4" format slides. The scan is fairly slow and is a bit of a process BUT at least I can get the job done and preserve those precious slides.

It is just a great scanner! I have been using it to convert many older photographs to digital and haven't had one issue! I'm even having fun doing it. Thanks Epson for a great product!

I've had my Epson 4490 Photo scanner for a while and find it to be the most efficient scanner I have ever owned. It is easy to operate and can be adjusted to suit my needs. I especially love the business card application which gets rid of the pile on my desk. When I had legal documents that needed to be saved, having the extra long bed made a huge difference. I would recommend this scanner to everyone.
