We bought this unit 3 years ago, and we use it about 4 to 5 times a week, and it's still going strong!

still trying to find out how to get the slide image not to look like a colour negative. What steps are needed to get a clear regular photo image

From waht I have experienced thus far,, this epson scanner is FIRST class!!! I set it up last nite,, and will famiarize myself with it further this weekend

I have had a chance to explore my new scanner and find it perfect for my needs. It runs quiet and is very reliable. I also like the software attributes for correcting and filing images. Quality of image is priceless!

Last Saturday, I ordered an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo Scanner, which arrived yesterday, only four days after the order was placed. I immediatly hooked up the equipment, and started working on a long-term project. I am in the process of scanning thousands of pictures and slides that will be stored to discs. Not long after I started the big job that is ahead of me, I realized that I definitely chose the right scanner. The work is proceeding smoothly and more quickly than I dreamed possible. Thanks for good service and a fine product.

I have but one complaint. When I try to copy the scanner will only copy 1/2 of a page. So far nothing will change that. Could some one tell me how to fix this problem?? Every thing else is workinf just fine.
