I am continually surprised by this phone. I would recomend it to anyone looking for a phone with great call and screen quality, excellent features, lighting fast processor speed and the ability for unmatchable customization. I would recomend checking out top ten tips and tricks for the Samsung Galaxy 3 on google. The only thing I would like is to see google work on their s voice.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

A must have...Galaxy S3

Love the design and the versatility of it, everything you can ask for in a smartphone and more. I don't go anywhere without it, sleek and reliable. It's like a cell phone and a laptop all in one, practical and functional.

The next big thing? Really?

Maybe I want the previous, little thing back.
I've had this phone for under 6 months after upgrading from an iPhone 3 I had for years. I expected to be blown away and initially it was a major improvement in every possible way. However, slowly things continue to malfunction on this phone.
1. The audio notification for a new text message was originally a 5-tone whistle. Recently that is cut off and only does 2 or 3 of the trills. No biggie, but an odd malfunction.
2. Apps that get updated randomly have their shortcut icon removed. I've investigated this and the only solution was to uninstall and reinstall the app, which of course loses all the saved data. It has happened only twice so far, but it's inconvenient.
3. The clock simply stops working at random times for unknown reasons. I know how to resolve it, but for the love of pete, it's the clock! One would not think it would be an overly complex app.
4. And starting just yesterday (after months of working normally) I've encountered the Cell Standby bug which drains the battery entirely in about 8 hours. This is not just a reporting glitch - the phone will shut itself off after about 8 hours. I've found a number of 'fixes' online, but most of those simply entail reducing the functionality of the phone to feed the Cell Standy - that's not a solution. That's like saying, toss the backseats out of your car to gain fuel efficiency.
#4 of course is the straw - having to recharge my phone every 8 hours is simply ridiculous and not being able to quickly find and implement some fix that has been a known issue for months is unacceptable from a company labeling its product as the 'next big thing'.
The biggest thing about this phone is the disappointment.

I really liked my first galaxy. Then I decided to upgrade and boy am I glad I did! This is the best phone ever! I got it in red. I have not covered it up with a case because I love the red! Very much worth every dime i spent on it.

Love my Galaxy SIII

I wasn't sure if I wanted a iPhone or the Galaxy SIII and of course I decided on the Galaxy and I have not regretted it one bit. I LOVE MY PHONE!!!!

This is probably one of the best phones i've ever owned. Fast and veryl ightweight it does feel a little cheaply made. Overall a great piece of equipment. The extra added features and the super amoled plus display makes this phone a beast.
