i have a KitchenAid Gas on Glass cooktop that I purchased 16 years ago, I am thinking about buying it again just because I am about to change out my counter tops and want the same appliance. It has been great and except for the grates showing some wear it still looks like it did 16 years ago.

after 4 years the grid is showing cracks and we need to buy new. but with thats wear and tear. No complains overall.

I bought this cooktop about 1 month ago, and it looks good in my kitchen. However, one of the five burners has stopped lighting. The electrical pulse sound is there but the burner won't light.

I've had this gas cooktop for 2 months now. I've always cooked with gas and am happy with this. Still getting use to the glass top which is harder to clean than the other ones I've had in the past. I would of prefered porcelain which was easier to clean. I'm afraid I will scratch the glass.

I love the way the gas burners light up with ease and very fast. Very easy clean up. Looking around for a tip to clean the grates/grill above burners since they are not coated they seem to be a bit more difficult to clean. The good thing is since they are not coated, they will not chip!
