The charger is a mess

The buds deliver a good sound but far from the excellence of the Bose The great issue is the charger....It works from time to time.. It oftenly fails to do its job. Surprisingly it may charge the device or not.... Don't waste your money.

The headphones are saying "no data" when I put songs from Apple/iTunes on them, when I put songs from CDs on them, etc. What type of music files does it take??

Don't let the battery complete discharge

Only thing I can figure. I'd been listening and charging on a regular basis, then one time got a "Battery Low!" message, after which it turned off. No worries, I thought, I'll just charge it when I get home. Nope. It no longer charges. It *shows* that it's charging, and in fact I can see what's on it when it's plugged into my computer. But it will not play, power up, anything.

Great product!

my son has a beats wireless but he complained on the inconvenience when he's working out and running..
When I received my Sony MP3 fit.. I worked out and jog with him and he almost flipped (went crazy) when I directly did my laps in the pool wearing my sony mp3 fit.
Now he is begging me to give his allowance in advance for him to buy one... I am planning to buy for his christmas gift from me and his mom.
Thanks a lot.

Worthwhile Purchase

I prefer on the ear headphones, but these are pretty comfortable for in the ear style. The sound is good as long as you have a nice seal with the earbud. Unfortunately, this can be difficult once you get wet from sweat or in a watery environment, such as when I kayak on a heavy sea spray day. Would be nice if they could design the head band to better secure these in the correct position in the ear. Battery lasts for well over 10 hours of continuous music and charges fairly quickly. I do have issues with the charger as the design makes the charging process a bit flaky. If they get bumped at all or there is any dirt or skin in the charging grill, it will stop charging or charge sporadically. The old, but trusty micro usb port was so much more reliable. Still, these have been a blessing for my kayaking, skating and bicycling and have performed better through these activities than any other in the ear style buds. If they could make these on the ear with a more secure charging port with the ipx8 rating, they would be perfect.

A very good Product-but still room for improvement

Sound quality is only okay. I have to have the volume full when swimming. I believe that if the chamber, where the speaker is, was full flood or solid filled; sound quality would be 2-3x better.
Sound travels faster in water and, as I see it, when there is an airspace between the speaker, water and eardrum, the airspace blocks the "rich" sound.
Underwater speakers sound better than those in a submersible housing. But still, there is nothing else out there as good as these.
