I've been waiting for Otterbox to come out with an iPad case that had a cover I didn't have to snap on and looked professional enough to use around the office. This is certainly it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I also appreciate that I can access all of the iPad's functions within the case. Three issues:
1. The case is big. It dramatically increases the iPad's profile. 2. It's heavy. But I expect the weight will pay off in durability. 3. No magnet to activate and deactivate the iPad. If I'm paying all this money, I think it's reasonable to stick a magnet on the inside of the cover.
Overall, a very good product.
Pros: High quality, Durable, professional looking, fold-over cover., all functions are accessible.
Cons: big., heavy., no auto-activation magnet on inside of cover.
I always have liked the Otter Box products but this one miss the mark for me. My main issue with this unit is when it is in the stand mode, it keeps falling. Maybe I am doing it wrong but I don't I am. While in the stand mode the unit will almost always slip out and falls flat, not good for my iPad our my opinion of the unit.
didn't like the quality. i don't get any pleasent feelings when i work with it. the same emotions as it be a carton of milk, i mean it doesn't give positive emotions
I like the way the folio looks and feels. It attaches and detaches easily to the shell. It does a good job of protecting the IPad when it's being carried in a briefcase or bag. But, the use of the folio for positioning the IPad for viewing is not intuitive. A newbie user will have to fiddle with it to figure out how to use it.
