This product just works. After fumbling with other cases, shells that made me fold little triangles and then watch the iPad fall over, I found a stand that just works. It hold the iPad at a comfortable angle for watching a movie or making a recipe in the kitchen. It feels very secure and is easy to use.

I bought this for my husband, it looked like it was well made, but still way overpriced for what it was. I knew Otterbox items were pricey but this was unreasonable.
It might be perfect for someone else but it was just not what we were looking for. Way too bulky. No screen protection when in the actual case, only when in the folding carrying case. It just didn't meet our needs. We returned it for a refund minus $5 return shipping fee.

Of note, very difficult to navigate their website to get a refund label. The only option to return is if the item was defective which was not. What I just didn't like it? Ended up calling them and requesting a refund label.

Mixed Feelings

I love the idea of this product so much so that I bought one. Within a week, the dock slipped right off the back of the ipad so I wrote Otter and sent them pictures and they replaced it immediately. I had the replacement for a couple of weeks and was very careful to hold it tightly while going from room to room. Then when I didn't think about it and before I knew it, it slipped right off the magnet onto the tile floor and broke. I kept it going for a while with tape but it was inevitable. I didn't call or replace it, I took the loss but I do miss the convenience of the swivel stand. Next time you come up with a better design, I may try again.

Do not recommend!

I bought this dock and dropped it 3 feet to the floor and it busted. The hinge came apart so it was worthless.
