Design Issues

I purchased the Portfolio Nov,2014 because I have used Otterbox products for my iPhone's and felt this product offered the most protection, and had flexible viewing features. However, after 3 months use the flip-up tabs designed to hold the pad at various viewing angles have lost their rigidity and the pad won't stay in an upright viewing angle. After a few minutes in an angled position the tab folds over and pad drops to a flat position. I'm disappointed Otterbox didn't design a better method to hold the pad in an angled position. I would recommend this product for the protection, but not the viewing flexibility.
Pros: protection
Cons: Not durable, design flaws

Overall quality is very good. I've tried other brands but they don't even compare to the Otterbox. It would be nice if Otterbox would explain exactly what you need to order for the agility series. For example, I ordered the Portfolio but the website didn't say that you need to order the Shell also because they both are needed to properly fasten the portfolio to the shell. Outside of that, the product is excellent for ease of carrying and for protection to the ipad air.

I decided to upgrade to the portfolio and am very happy I did. the case is durable, has built in stand and wrap around design that help protect my Ipad and keep dirt and dust off. The added benefit is how good it looks. Great Job Otterbox.

I had an older Otter Box product for my iPad that wore out. I looked for something else that was as durable because I take my iPad with to see clients around town and I have a habit a dropping it occasionally. The agility shell and portfolio gives me that protection. I like that I can use it in landscape or portrait position depending on what I'm doing. The only complaint I have with the portfolio is my iPad doesn't rest in the lower profile tab very well when I use it in reading or watching position. If the tab was taller, this would be perfect.

I had a defender for some time and although I really like it, I did sometimes want something a bit classier. This portfolio has nice textiles and looks sharp. I like the softer material on the inside that keeps my screen looking good. My only small complaint is when I am propping it up it will sometimes slide down a little from where I initially placed it because of the weight of the shell. Overall I really like it and I feel like it looks more mature. I would suggest this product to a friend.
