Can't live without it

I got the Spotbot Pet for occasional accidents on my carpet with my two dogs. It has been a lifesaver. I can set it up to clean the spot and do other things while it cleans. It works on set in stains as well as surface stains. It comes with a hose and brush attachment too and I have just got done using that for the first time. Dog threw up on chair, pillow, carpet, Christmas paper and his sister. Got out my Spotbot, working quickly and cleaned it all in a few minutes. Washed the dog by hand! Appears that there will not be any stains but will know better when it dries. One of the most useful things in my house. Make sure to buy the Bissell cleaning solution to use with the unit.

only one flaw

with aging pets, I rely on this tool often... it cleans the carpet well. The only flaw is that the unit itself is impossible to clean! the hose is permanently attached so fibers and particles get stuck in the hose and hand-suction end. I have tried back-flushing to moderate success. I would pay more for a unit with fittings that can be taken apart to clean.
