I've been using the 12c; since the early 70's, when it was
first introduced. I've been through two of them and am
working on my third 12c. Unfortunately the unit only last
a little over ten years. By the way, you don't have to worry;
one one will ever borrow it work a calculation.

I started using the 12C in 1974 while working for a Big-8 Accounting firm. I still use one today and just purchased my 4th one. They last a long time. I even have a 12C app on my iPhone.

Since its introduction in about the 1075's I have bought at least 12 12Cs for myself, family, and friends. I now have one by my PC (HP of course) and my reading chair. They are an important part of my life.

The old standby just purchased my second one in 22 years. I expect 25 out of this one. Great for finance and everyday calculations.
Highly durable, mine have been through some rough tratment and always keep working.

I have had this calculator for almost 20 years and it has never failed to give great performance. I love this product. The battery lasts forever and I use it all the time. I don't use all the features that it has available often, but when I do, it works just great.

I have using the 12C for 24 years and it has never failed to perform and expand it's utility value.
But I do miss the scientific version with the same design,
I believe it was the 15C, I wish it come back so I can replace the model I lost.

One of the best calculators ever

I have had mine since 1982. It even got wet when my basement flooded. I dried it out in the oven and it started working again and continues to work to this day. Every few years I have to replace the batteries. After 27 years a couple of the rubber foot pads have come off. I think I will send it back.
