Excellent appliance

I bought this cooktop to replace a model 20 years old. I did not like the new smooth enclosed units and had no other gas uses throughout my home, wanted to stay with electric. My old unit had served me well through the years so I decided to get another and have been very satisfied with the newer model. Easy to install and required no changes to my counter top. Very pleased with my new unit.

I was having trouble finding the color I wanted. This top came in bisque but was a different design with the controls in the middle rather than on the side. I love the appearance and the way it works and would recommend it.

Well GE does it again , Love this Stove Top , has everything I was looking for , easy to install , looks Great , I got it in black , Replaced my old stove top and this one heats up so fast and stays much hotter then my old one , Love It .

What has happened to GE quality? Really disappointed that there is no timer and really dislike the drip pans. Yes, I know it isn't an expensive item but it was recommended by the store.

An Excellent Choice

I had this cooktop installed only yesterday (2/28/15), to replace it's predecessor. So far, everything seems excellent. It fits very firmly and squarely on the countertop, and the center controls are extremely readily available to reach and operate, in a very enhancing manner. I must say that it is really aesthetically pleasing to look at. I would have liked the drip pans not to have the opening at the epicenter, thereby preventing spills from going down in the large pan, but by the same token I realize that by not having the spills collected in the individual drip pans they will remain more corrosion free, and because the common drip pan is of porcelain material, cleaning will be easier to manage. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product, and would happily recommend it to all.
