The unit is very hard to keep shiny, although the drip pans are a breeze to clean. The coils rattle with kitchen foot traffic, and the knobs have a lot of play when adjusting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My top is warping. The top warps when the back burner is used, the front corner raises up. One burner drip pan is not flat with the top. When the top is raised it's very warped or uneven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features especially the two large burners

This cooktop works well but I am not impressed with how dingy it looks when I clean it with a cloth after cooking. It doesn't shine and doesn't look clean at all.
