Great Stove Top

I bought this stove top in black , installed it myself.
Love It , heats up fast , stays hot . I noticed I have to turn the temperature down , because the burners stay hot longer then my old one .
I chose GE because of the great reputation they have.
Great choice !!

Attractive and good features.

Installed 2 days ago. Relatively light and easy to install (since my cutout was right). Burners work great and easy to clean. Wish one of the burners was extra large.

We love the simplicity and sleek design. We are NOT fans of ceramic cook tops, etc. so this was a great find.

nice cooktop

This is a remodel project replacing another coil cooktop. We find that the coil type cooktops outperform the glass tops and actually cook faster and more evenly distribute the heat.

Nice cooktop

Got my cooktop about 4 months ago and have been pleased with it. I especially like the knobs at the front. What I don't like is how difficult it is, not to clean the cooktop, but to get it to shine without it looking smudged. Using a microfiber cloth and a lot of circular rubbing does seem to help, but that's more work than I want to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Stove Top!

We bought this top to replace a glass top that cracked. LOVE IT! Cooks better and looks just as nice as the black glass top version. More direct heating to the pan, so you can cook at a lower temp. than a glass top. And it won't crack

Burners not level and had it repair. Still not level. Over I like the unit. Not level cooking.

Have some issues

The burners do not sit flat in the drip pans, you can move them back and forth with your hand when the burners are off. When you have a pan sitting on them the contents are not level leading to uneven browning if frying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
