What has happened to GE quality? Really disappointed that there is no timer and really dislike the drip pans. Yes, I know it isn't an expensive item but it was recommended by the store.

Well GE does it again , Love this Stove Top , has everything I was looking for , easy to install , looks Great , I got it in black , Replaced my old stove top and this one heats up so fast and stays much hotter then my old one , Love It .

Front burner is "lop-sided" and not satisfactory, as it is the one most used.

Ultra-thin Stainless with sloppy coils. Couldn't afford to replace what I had or upgrade, was hoping this would fit the bill. But, no. It is quite tinny and sloppy, though it does cook well and responds quickly for an electric top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
